Founded in 2010, the Allegheny Community Center (ACC) is a non-profit organization operating under the auspices of Experience, Inc., serving residents of Warren and Forest Counties. The ACC’s primary focus is on meeting the needs of older people. The Center fosters respect, independence and personal growth for each individual. As a community resource, it provides access to supportive services and activities.
The continued goals of the ACC are to meet the diverse recreational, health and fitness, nutritional, social and educational needs of area residents through quality programs and services. Upon entering you will immediately get a sense of being in an old world European home. The dark tiger oak woodwork throughout, stained glass, iron woodwork, relief plaster, coffered ceilings and antiques set the stage.

The dining room, the first room upon entering the club, seats up to 100 people at 15 tables, has a fireplace, and also has a lounge area with multiple couches and chairs, all in decorative vintage-style design. The Conewango Club Ballroom is the second floor, a gorgeous versatile room perfect for wedding receptions, dancing, and many other events. It accommodates 20 tables, seating up to 180. The Oak Room is the basement of the Conewango Club and features oak tables, a bar, and TVs. The room also offers a pool table and an adjacent bowling alley. With a relaxed atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for an after dinner drink or nightcap.

Nicola Mangione founded Crescent Beer in 1973, located at Crescent Park in Warren, PA. We started with Anheuser-Busch and Schmidts products selling to individuals and bars within Warren County. Crescent Beer grew and expanded twice and added Pabst, Heilman, Stroh, Pittsburgh Brewing and Yuengling products to their offerings. In 1999 and 2000 Crescent Beer purchased additional distribution rights to complete their current footprint which is Warren, Forest, McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, and parts of Jefferson and Clearfield counties. Innovation has been our tradition at Crossett and it’s our future. In 1928, William F. Crossett launched the company when he began a transport service using a 780-gallon tank attached to a Model T Ford truck chassis. The second truck was the first of its kind: A 1760-gallon tank made with frameless aluminum construction, manufactured locally in Warren, PA. This truck was just the start of Crossett’s innovations in the tank truck industry. The second owner, Robert W. “Bud” Holder, collaborated with Mahlon Burgett to design a double conical elliptical tank trailer. They worked with local companies, Pennco, Alleghany Valve Co. and Betts Industries, to develop this idea and a number of new concepts.
