WRFA is a listener supported, non-commercial, low power FM radio station provided as a public service by the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts (Formerly known as Arts Council for Chautauqua County). We broadcast at 107.9 FM in Jamestown, NY.
WRFA is dedicated to providing access to the arts, cultural and educational programming and a forum for the discourse of public affairs. In addition WRFA provides community outreach through programs at area public schools, the East Side YMCA and the Boys and Girls Club of Jamestown and Hispanic Youth Radio. The station also relies of participation from local volunteers, who produce a wide variety of news, cultural and entertainment-related programming.

TEAM HISTORY
Baseball has deep roots in Jamestown, New York. The Jamestown Falcons date back to the late 1930s, and many professional baseball clubs have used Diethrick Park as a development ground for their farm systems. The Detroit Tigers, Atlanta Braves, Montreal Expos, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Miami Marlins have all developed professional ball players in Jamestown, New York.
Jamestown baseball has evolved from the days of the New York-Penn League, to the New York Prospect League, and now to the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.
The Jamestown franchise has won 8 Championships:
Jamestown Falcons – PONY League Champions – 1942, 1944, 1947, 1952, 1953
Jamestown Expos – New York-Penn League Champions – 1989, 1991

The Jamestown Tarp Skunks baseball park is named for “Mr. Baseball”, Russ Diethrick – humble local leader, and highly renowned sports and recreation personality in Jamestown, New York. His contributions at the community level have been unmatched, and his work with the Jamestown Babe Ruth World Series has helped put Jamestown on the baseball map. He is our very special, one of a kind Russ of all Trades. He and his wife, June, are instrumental leaders in the Jamestown community.
Formerly known as College Stadium, the ballpark has been ingrained in Jamestown community history for over seven decades. The park seats 3,000 people in a general admission format. Hall of Fame caliber players such as Nellie Fox once patrolled the confines during Minor League Baseball action.
The park sits undisturbed in a beautiful setting away from the busier streets, nestled between the John S. Sinatra Soap Box Derby hill, Jamestown Community College campus, and a gorgeous grove of trees and wildlife. When you walk into the park, it always feels like its time for baseball!

They had the car repaired before I got back. When I picked it up, it was cleaner and better detailed than when I purchased it new from the dealership.
