APSE Ministries is study program to help find relevance for the teaching of Jesus Christ in the 21st Century. The author, Dr. James Spangler, is a retired optometrist who has dedicated his life to the study of the Bible.

A home for those who want to study the Bible in truth and spirituality. A home for those who want real answers. A home for those who trust their own ability to understand the scriptures. A home for those who want to explore and ask questions, to challenge their faith, to go beyond SOMEONE ELSE’S INTERPRETATION OF WHAT WE ARE TO BELIEVE AND WHAT IT MEANS TO BE CHRISTIAN!
The Focus
The focus of APSE ministries is to reach out to former believers and doubters who question the Bible, question the church – be it a specific church, a specific denomination, or church in general, or question the relevance of God and the church in the 21st century.
APSE – is a recess that holds the altar in a church.
